Therapy Services

Specialized, Compassionate Counseling

Session Cost

$150 per 50 minute session

I accept cash, check, debit/credit, venmo, HSA/FSA in card form

I don’t take insurance at this time. I believe grief is a healthy response to many hard life events and don’t want to diagnose you with a mental health disorder. I also believe you should have full control over your treatment (how often or how long you attend therapy.)

Upon request, I’m happy to provide you with paperwork you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Therapy Logistics

I provide in-person therapy for adult individuals, couples, and families. My office is conveniently located on Greenville’s Eastside.

Are we a good fit?

Finding the right therapist can be tough. If this section describes you, there’s a great chance we would work well together.

You’re hurting because life has taken an unexpected and abrupt turn. A death, divorce, or other loss turned your world upside down and you’re grieving. In the past, you’ve been able to recover and move forward, but this feels much heavier. You’re starting to think that talking to someone with experience in what you’re going through would be helpful. You’d like that person to be compassionate, skilled, calming, and encouraging. You don’t plan on being in therapy forever, but you need some help right now to get back on your feet.

Here’s more about the specific situations I’m skilled to help you with:

Bereavement of any kind. Expected or unexpected, sudden or prolonged. Feeling devastated, relieved, or anything in between and all at once.

Traumatic Death of a loved one. Out-of-order death, suicide, death of a child, victim of violence, any untimely or sudden death, traumatic medical circumstances.

Divorce. Picking up pieces, betrayal, boundaries, finding yourself again, restructuring life, recovering and healing.

Loss. Life is full of things to grieve: moving, job loss or change, devastating breakups, new life stage, friendship loss, changes in roles, and any other situation or event that becomes hard to adjust to.

Having a quick conversation on the phone can be so helpful in figuring out if you’d like to work with me! There’s no pressure, and I can provide you with names of other therapists who might be a good fit if we’re not. Text, call, or email me to set that up.
